Enhanced Lie Detection

Today's Lie Detection Machine doesn't ascribe importance to the brain's responses.

Abstract
Today’s Lie Detection Machine doesn’t ascribe importance to the brain’s responses. In this project, the practicability of a Lie Detection Machine which is based on the differences between the two side of the brain, was tested. The brain is consists of two Hemisphers, such that, each hemisphere is responsible of the opposite side of the body. When a person is lying, there’s a different arousal of the two sides of the brain. Such difference can be used to distinguish between Lie and True.

The problem
Today’s Lie Detection isn’t too satisfying, therefore there’s a need for better ways to obtain true and lie. The goal of this project is to check more useful methods, that are based on distinguishing between the responses of the left and right hemispheres.

The solution & the basic approach

Tools
Using the Norav Machine, there were tests on some people, in order to find parameters that can obtain between True and Lie situations. The results data from the Norav Machine, have been moved to software that wrote in Matlab.

Conclusions
There has been found a correlation between the left and the right signals of the Hemisphers, when the person tells true. And no such correlation when he tells Lie. In fact, this can be used for advanced researches based on these conclusions, in the future.
