Abstract
In recent years there has been improvement in robotics field, nevertheless, there is no practical solution for human-robot interface. Integration of robots in everyday life may help in many and diverse areas. For instance, robot could be used to be an alternative for nursing, helping elderly people in their everyday activities, or accompany disabled people. The main requirement is that the robot will be trained in doing and recognition “human” actions and, while keeping minimal knowledge requirement in order to operate the robot (due to easy to use interface).
The robot is required to recognize human facial expression by taking photos, analyzing them and respectively respond. Also the robot is needed to be able to perform a large variety of motor actions.
