Abstract
Nowadays automatic License Plate Recognition (LPR) takes important place in the smart traffic area. Most of such systems operates under certain preset light conditions, which makes the License plate detection easier. In this project we tried to develop image processing based LPR system. The input of this system was grayscale video with difficult light conditions.
